CAST

Nichole-DumoulinNichole Dumoulin (Calliope) is beyond excited to be a part of this fun and silly production! She graduated from EWU with a BA in Theatre. Included in her favorite roles are Catherine in A View from the Bridge, Viola in Twelfth Night, and most recently Stella in A Streetcar Named Desire. This is her first show at The Modern CDA. She dedicates this performance to all of her past and present theatre students.

olivia-mcneiceOlivia McNeice (Emily) is overjoyed to be in this sweet and wacky production. Her past performances at The Modern CDA include Les Misérables and Sound of Music. She thanks her friends and family for their support. Merry Christmas to all!

Trevor-Rau-MAMTrevor Rau (Amos) is absolutely ecstatic to be a part of this stellar cast and crew! Having gotten his start in children’s theatre, Trevor knows what an amazing feeling kids get when they see a story unfold right before their eyes. He hopes everyone enjoys the show and especially hopes that everyone has a merry Christmas!

steveSteve Kane (Uncle) is thrilled to have been asked to return to the stage after a long hiatus. You may remember Steve from the Lake City Productions of Fiddler on the Roof or Lost in Yonkers. I hope you find this show as fun as I do. Merry Christmas!

Dave has been very fortunate to play iconic roles such as Dracula and Henry Jekyll, and been in classic productions written by Shakespeare, Arthur Miller, and Tom Stoppard. He thanks the cast and crew for all the courage, kindness, honesty, and love that we’ve shared.

H Paton HeadshotHannah Paton (Director) is thrilled to be a part of this show! Hannah serves as Director of Community Affairs at The Guardians Foundation, Inc. and is grateful for the opportunity to be onstage again. She was most recently seen as Diana in Lend Me A Tenor, and has directed The Nerd and Maybe Baby, all at The Modern CDA. She would like to thank her husband Jim for his love and support in all things.

Matt Gerard - Modern - danscape (6 of 28)Matthew Gerard (Stage Manager) is a regular employee of The Modern. He has worked as crew and cast for the past two years. His favorite roles include Enjolras in Les Miserables, The Lounge Singer in Dogfight, and Charles Guiteau in Assassins.

Jamie Russell - Headshot - Modern - danscape (19 of 28)Jamie Russell (Costumer) was introduced to costuming in 2008 when her daughter, Sadie, was cast in CYT’s production of Narnia. Since then, she has costumed many productions. Jamie has served The Modern as a costumer since the 2010-11 season. She looks forward to the challenge of bringing characters to life with costumes. Her life purpose is to creatively inspire others, and she hopes that she inspires you through her creations on stage.

jwhittingJeremy Whittington (Scenic/Art Designer) has always enjoyed bringing a vision to life and is excited to get to do that here at the Modern! He is a comic book illustrator, graphic designer, writer, editor, and actor. He graduated Summa Cum Laude with his Bachelor of Fine Arts from Sanford-Brown in 2015 and spent 3 years at Ohio University where he was actively involved in regional theater. The energy of our area’s thriving art, music and theatre scene makes Jeremy grateful to the Great Artist above for placing him on this incredible team.

Eric NowakEric Nowak (Lighting Design) is thrilled to be once again be designing for the theater he has long called home. Eric’s work in Sound Design was most recently seen in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee.
