Dawn Taylor Reinhardt studied theater at the Northern College of Speech and Drama in Oldham, England. She has since traveled the globe working as a director, actor and production manager. Most recently, she was seen in Spokane Civic Theatre’s production of Dr.Jeckyl and Mr. Hyde. Dawn is an award-winning director with the play That Almost Joy. Her last directorial work on this stage were Other Desert Cities and Neil Labute’s twin plays Reasons to be Pretty and Reasons to be Happy.
Callie McKinney Cabe (Connie) is thrilled to be back at The Modern-Spokane. She was last seen on this stage as Berte in the hilarious Boeing Boeing. Most recently was seen in The Great American Trailer Park Christmas Musical as Betty at The Modern-CDA. Callie is thankful to her family (Stu, Maddie and Jackson) for their support. Performing for over thirty years in regional theaters across the U.S, she is thrilled to be sharing the stage with this cast in her home town!
Sarah Miller (Doris) is a Spokane-based actor/singer who maintains a primary career as a compliance professional in financial services. Last seen in The Modern-Spokane’s Boeing Boeing as Gretchen and as part of the ensemble for The Modern-CDA’s Les Miserables. Special thanks to her wonderful husband Matt, her dear friends and her loving family.
Marianne McLaughlin (Margot) was a Regional Actor and Director in the Portland before settling in Spokane. She earned her BFA in Theatre from EWU. Her recent acting credits include Mama Rose in Gypsy and Amanda Wingfeild in The Glass Menagerie as well as Other Desert Cities for The Modern-Spokane. As a Director, she advanced the production of Orphans to The AACT National Competition 2015 in Grand Rapids, Michigan. A special thanks to her husband Michael for all his loving support.
Nancy Gasper (Tate) is happy to have another opportunity to perform live theatre in Spokane. She is currently a member of the improv troupe at Blue Door Theatre. She wishes to thank God and her family for making this possible.
Jeremy Whittington (Set Designer) is the Resident Design Technician for The Modern Theater Spokane and Coeur d’Alene. His design work has been seen on stage in both locations, as well as in posters, brochures and advertisements. Jeremy has his AA in Theater Production from Ohio University and his BFA in Graphic Design from Sanford-Brown. Elizabeth Kitzig (Props) has enjoyed art in its varied forms for as long as she can remember. Some of her favorite ways to express her artistic side are through creating paintings, crafts and cooking. Recently Lizzy was introduced to the Spokane theater community when she took the opportunity to join the prop team for Leftovers. She was happy to find that her love of crafts had a place in the theater family.
Mariah Smith (Lights) is ecstatic to be working with such an amazing cast. After spending most of her time on stage, she’s excited to be behind the scenes! She would like to thank George Green for always pushing her, her mom for always believing in her, and her best friend Lili for doing a little bit of both.
Nichole Dumoulin (Stage Manager) is an EWU graduate with a BA in theater and works in Spokane as a theater artist and acting teacher. She is thrilled to be stage managing this production for the Modern Theater with such a talented group of women!
